Anti ligature continuous hinges provide an even weight distribution and uninterrupted sight line down the entire length of the door which greatly reduces the possibility of a ligature point. The securahinge is a full length continuous geared hinge fitted with a sloping cap and specially designed bearings to overcome the risks of ligature and self harm. This can be used either for double action doors such as corridor doors or can be used with a swing stop anti barricade device for doors in high risk areas. Hinge opens to 180 degrees.

The anti ligature aluminium continuous geared hinge runs the full length of the door and provides maximum strength security and safety. The swing hinge is a unique patented double acting continuous hinge that allows doors to swing 105 in both directions. Suitable for use in hospitals and patient care facilities these hinges are designed to prevent the attachment of any ligature that could cause strangulation or other self harm. The phoenix continuous hinge range has been tested and certified to bs en 1935 grade 14 ce marked and suitable for use on 30 60 minute timber fire doors.
